You Tube – Year in Review

For me, the most memorable thing on You Tube this year—was the “Bed Intruder” song story. It was a song that featured the processed vocals of Antonie Dodson, who was talking to a news reporter about the alleged attempted rape of his sister Kelly in Huntsville, Alabama. Check out the news clip and song below.

The original music video for “Bed Intruder Song” went viral on YouTube, who listed the song as the most popular video of 2010. The song went to iTunes, was a top seller on August 26, 2010, and is still charted in the top songs this year. The song also reached 89 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The guys who made the song have split the profits with Antonie, who now earns money making public appearances. Cool success story and pretty telling of our times!

If you want to see some of the funniest video’s on YouTube, check out Tosh.0 on Comedy Central. This is today’s, not family-friendly, America’s Funniest Videos and maybe the best comedy show this year. Hilarious! Here’s a promo clip I found on their iPhone app, “The Perfect Internet Video.”

To push this all in the wrong direction, Introducing, Bill Pullman!

It may be a bit disturbing and shocking, but that’s what makes a YouTube star! Be one!
