New found gem in Dry Creek

My interest with Sonoma wines continues, with a visit to Preston Vineyards on Sunday. On Geoff and Anna’s recommendation, the four of us packed a picnic and headed down the dusty road to a secluded picnic area and tasting room. You feel like a guest, sitting off the owners’ home & garden. A happy, plump posse of cats will greet you upon entering. Lou and his wife will even pour you a jug and have a chat. You’ll find plenty of organic produce on the porch (shove a buck or two in the collection jug) or grab some pickles inside. Fantastic wines, will have to get the jug next time.
